  Case: Students talk too much
There is this girl who talks entirely too much throughout the day. I tell her to be quiet, but when she isn't quiet, all she does is talk. I don't know how to approach it, especially because it's annoying. Help!
Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!)
If this student is constantly disrupting class, have her write sentences such as "I will not disrupt my class" a certain amount of times. If that does not solve it maybe you could talk to her parents.

Comments: I don't like this solution. You should have incentives and rewards and be positive towards the student. I don't think forcing them to write the same sentence over and over would solve this problem.

Comments: I do not think having a student write sentences is an effective way to utilize classroom time. The student's inappropriate behavior needs to be addressed. However, I feel that the student's talking could be channeled toward meeting some of the common core standards that require discussion/debate.

Comments: If I were in this situation, I would not use this solution. I would not make a student do this if they misbehaved because I feel that it would humiliate the student rather than teach them proper manners in class.
