Case: These parents?
An interviewee is being spoken to about a possible job position at her child's school. She was a parent before she became a candidate. The principal asked the candidate, "are you sure you can work with these parents?". The candidate knew exactly what he meant, as she was one of those parents. Those parents are extremely involved and have very high expectations and a very loud voice with a far community outreach. That question could go one or two ways. How would you respond?

I would just respond with "As being one of these parents, I know that they are just concerned with their child's education. I would really like to help ensure them that their children will get a very good education with me." |
