After the students are put in their rooms, chaperones start consuming the alcoholic beverages before the final student bed check is made. What would you do? If I had noticed the cooler before the bus had departed I would tell the parent that bringing alcohol on a school field trip is highly inappropriate and that they will have to leave it behind. Asking the chaperones to leave the alcohol behind is the best resolution if it can be caught in time. Trying to halt the situation is the second best option, if they happened to bring the alcohol with them. If all other options fail, bring in the admin team for proper action.
