  Case: Bullying
One little girl in my class suffers from fetal alcohol syndrome. She is constantly being bullied because she looks and acts different from the other kids. What are some ways to help the other students understand, yes, she might be different, but thats no reason to bully her?

bullying is a serious issue that should not be ignored. Be sure that the first thing you do is report this to the proper authorities at your school so it can be handled . After is has been reported, I think that the best thing to do in this situation is to raise your students awareness about fetal alcohol syndrome so they have better understanding of their classmate. I would also do a lesson with the students about tolerance and accepting people even if they are different because we are all different from each other, but we still have to get along.
