  Case: ESOL modifications
In Mrs. F's third grade class there are 2 ESOL students. Both of them are at a lower level. She does not make any accommodations or modifications for them. She is just assuming that they will figure it out.
Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!)
If you are in the teacher's class, you could always ask to pull these students and others for small group time. Ask her to see if she would mind you doing this. The small group time could occur after a test or assignment. The students would then be offered some accommodations. This is a serious issue and if not addressed these students will fall into the educational gap.

Comments: I think having small pull-out groups is useful. It shows which students really need the help and what level of help they need as well.
