He was textbook EBD and not at all doing well in an ASD setting. He was a constant problem and had to be sent out of the class everyday for misbehavior. He refused to any work and distracted the other students from doing their work. What do you think could be done in this situation to help this student? Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!) I would begin by contacting the Special Education Director at the school and voice your concerns. Many times, there are unseen reasons for placements in the self-contained rooms. Maybe, it could be as simple as an oversight. If the SPED coordinator cannot help with the answer, contact the administrator at the school.
