Case: Chewing Gum
Chewing gum at school is not allowed. Just recently it has started to become a major problem in the gym because the teachers are finding new gum stuck to the gym floor everyday. Each period we have between 100-150 students coming into the gym, and cannot possibly check every one to see if they have gum. What are some ways that we could better prevent students from chewing gum?
Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!)
As a school, I would send home a letter to parents explaining the new policy about chewing gum and why it has been implemented. This way, parents would be able to check with their students on the way to school and make sure they at least weren't chewing it first thing in the morning. As far as later on in the school day, the other solutions would surely be helpful! |
