His IEP meeting was scheduled for that afternoon. However, his mother was upset that she had to come get him and refused to come back for the IEP meeting. I did not know how to respond. Any thoughts? Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!) That is understandable from the parent and student perspective but very frustrating as a teacher. It might be inconvenient but a rescheduled meeting seems to be the best solution in my view. The day's incident will overshadow the meeting to at least some degree if it were still held.
