  Case: Studying before the lesson
Mrs. Hopkins, a US Government teacher, tells her students to study the lessons that they will be going over in class and come up with two questions to ask in class. She tells to her students that if their two questions aren't answered during the lesson in class, they can ask them at the end of the period. Her students that do this continuously score high on all tests and quizzes, whereas, her students that don't do this score lower. What can she do to get all of her students to use this method of studying?
Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!)
I like this idea. A variation that I'd use would be to break students into groups of 5-6 and have them ask questions to each other and then share with the class.

Comments: I agree, breaking students up into small study groups where they ask and answer each others questions may be effective. This will encourage students to study together and they will benefit from hearing the questions their peers ask, as they may also realize they need clarification on that topic too.

Comments: I think this is a unique and interactive idea to implement. It allows students to come to class prepared and already having insight on what is going to be learned. It also promotes thinking about the content.
