She has a boy in her classroom who's behavior fluctuates, however majority of the time the behavior is negative to himself, teacher, and peers. When he gets into trouble and is asked to leave the room he walks so slow barely even taking a step. The parents have been notified and administration involved. However the child continues to have bad behavior and point scissors at his neck and say I am going to die, etc. The counselors have been involved along with the parent notification and other teachers trying to assist. Solution: (Rates are posted for this solution!) I would document every time that he is negative inside of the class. Then I would ask the administration for another meeting to discuss the issues and then the counselors if needed. I would also try to bring in the parents to make them aware of the situation and if something at the house was going on. This would not only help cover you but show if there is an increase in the behavior at certain times or weeks.
