Communicating with parents
I am currently using the Remind app to communicate with my students' parents. However, I seldom get any responses from parents and have to constantly tell them to check the remind when they feel certain things were not communicated when in fact, they were. Should I switch to a different communication platform? Should I stick to my current one?

I would send out a communication informing the parents of the Remind app again. On the communication I would list different options of communication, and inform them that the option with the most request will be the new method of communication. I would then send a second notice, informing them of the new method of communication and ask for a signature for acknowledgment. If there continues to be an issue after that, I would inform remind them of the signed form.

I would send out an email to inform the parents about the remind again. Simply because not all teachers use other platforms some may only use email so parents may miss it. But I would also communicate with specific parents on what the best way to communicate with them is because even though using the same platform for everyone may be easier the main goal should be to have communication with everyone.
